Reunited!

It had been a long time since The Media Club met, so there was much excitement in yesterday's first meeting of 2014. Every member eagerly got to work on Issue 4, which will be released on February 3rd. It will be worth the wait...

TISAC Athletics

Just to inform you that the TISAC Athletics has been rescheduled for;

Primary; 29th April
Secondary; 23rd April

Badminton & Table Tennis

The PE department will be running a badminton and table tennis club on a Monday. Initially this is for everyone, although this will eventually be for the TISAC teams, with tournaments due to be held in May.

Engineering

It's weapon time in Engineering club.  Following instructions found on the Internet, Alain's team made a rapid fire Lego gun.  Although getting the electric motor to spin is easy to program, the clever bit is using different size cog-wheels to make a gear ratio so the firing mechanism spins a lot faster than the motor.  The ammo comes from a magazine that can be reloaded as often as needed.  I'll be back!
