Yoga this week...

Students have been trying out some pretty difficult poses in yoga this week. What great balance they have!

                                                

                                                   

                                                            

This week on the International Award we've started developing camp craft - in particular how to build a camp fire which can be used for cooking in a controlled way. Next time the team will be building the fire without help, and cooking their dinner on it!

The Mathematics Club

On Wednesday, I went to investigate The Mathematics Club and found a lot of hardworking students, determined to continue improving their skills in the subject. Great work everyone!

The EAL Club

Last Monday, I visited the EAL Club to see what they were up to. I was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm from both the teachers and students...most students were out of their seats, eager to answer the word game questions. It was really amazing to see such passionate learners. Have a look for yourself...

The Media Club Newsletter Launch

Last Friday, The Media Club published their first newsletter. The students worked very hard on this project and launched it with an assembly for secondary students and teachers. October the 4th's newsletter covered stories from around Ascot to around the world! There were also teacher interviews, links to short stories and even some room for jokes. I for one thoroughly appreciate and enjoyed their hard work. Well done and I look forward to the next installment...a Halloween issue if rumours are to be believed.
